We took the geometry of our Poseidon X and amped it up so you can eat up gravel with enough tire to absorb the vibrations of a rutted-rocky trail. Redwood wheels have 27.5" thru-axle/tubeless compatible rims. Allowing a 2.6" tire to clear this frame without issues (tire and rim combos vary). Whether you are on trails most gravel bikes would shudder at or taking in newfound sights on your next bikepacking trip the Redwood is ready.

Why Dropbar?

The Dropbar offers a unique experience when riding on trails. You have multiple hand positions to choose from so if one position starts to get uncomfortable you can freely switch between the others.

Dropbars allow you to tuck lower and put a bit more power down on the flatter roads. Not to mention the thrill of descending in the drops! The dropbar handlebar makes even the most simple of trails feel a bit more exciting and gives you the opportunity to choose your lines.

You'll gain a bit more bike handling knowledge and technique as it's not the typical handlebar choice you may have been accustomed to. Longer miles will feel that much better knowing you have more options to choose from to rest your hands.

Love it!

We picked up two redwoods and they have been great. We had to swap out my wife’s breaks for cable pull hydros and cross tops because she has a hard time stopping the bike even after the pads had been burnt in but over all solid bike for the money!

Redwood checks all the boxes

I like speed and comfort over rough fire roads and the redwood gets the job done like a champ. Especially after switching to conti race king 2.2 tires mounted tubeless. I went with a small (5'-7"), and it fits perfect just tweaking the available adjustments. I love the bar design, very comfy and controllable hoods or drops. The extra width and shallow drop make for a perfect semi tucked position that is comfortable for a long time. My carbon xc hardtail is going up for sale because for my needs, this redwood is a much better ride even though it only cost half as much. Amazingly it can handle the really rough stuff also, not as fast as mtb there but gets the job done without being sketchy. The best reason for getting this over a 700c gravel bike is that with fast xc tires, you gain safety without sacrificing speed. Not worrying about hitting rocks when you are head down cranking at 20mph makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Just put the power down and have a great time.

Awesome Gravel Bike

As a mountain biker getting into longer distance cycling, a gravel bike was the obvious choice. After tedious research, the Poseidon Redwood was the best choice for me!. It’s stability, geometry and overall handling is well dialed in, — oh yeah plus the price is amazing. This bike handles the Arizona sandy and rocky terrain incredibly considering you’re faced with lots of varying terrain.

Having the bike come tubeless ready is a huge bonus, I replaced the stock tires which are great but very knobby with WTB 650b Ventures. The bike absolutely flies on gravel now. The seat is a little uncomfortable but thats a preference for any rider. As far as sizing, I am 5’ 11” and the large fits me perfectly. This bike is great to explore the world with!

Bike is great, goatheads are not.

The bike is great and has handled well, the inner tube sent with it does not stand up to goatheads, though.
