The Poseidon AR-24 takes its name from All-Road and Aero, bringing together a modern wide rim platform, a rounded U-shaped profile, and Taiwan-made construction.
Our philosophy is simple: build a fast, strong, durable wheelset while shaving weight wherever possible. From its lightweight aluminum rims to its traditional six-pawl freehub and reinforced weather sealing, the AR-24 reflects our focus on practical performance and quality construction—for pavement, gravel, and the roads connecting them.
Wide rims. Purposeful profile.
The AR-24 features a 24.8 mm internal rim width, placing a modern wide rim platform at the center of its all-road design. A 27.83 mm external width and 20 mm-deep U-shaped profile complete its aero-inspired shape.
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, each rim weighs a claimed 395 g and uses a sleeved joint. The profile and material choices reflect the balance behind the entire wheelset: strength, durability, and careful attention to weight.
Taiwan-made quality. Handbuilt with purpose.
Proudly made and handbuilt in Taiwan, the AR-24 pairs its aluminum rims with 28 stainless-steel J-bend spokes per wheel, two-cross lacing front and rear, and 7075 aluminum nipples.
We chose J-bend spokes over a straight-pull design for their hooked attachment through the hub flange, with secure spoke retention and durability on rough roads in mind. 7075 aluminum nipples help keep weight down, while an understated black finish completes the look.
Traditional six-pawl design
We chose a Taiwan-made traditional six-pawl freehub mechanism, prioritizing quality and long-term durability. Its established mechanical design reflects the AR-24 philosophy: thoughtful components selected for everyday performance and reliability.
The Shimano HG (Hyperglide) freehub body provides the cassette mounting interface.
Sealed bearings. Reinforced weather protection.
The AR-24 uses stainless-steel sealed bearings with reinforced weather sealing to help keep water, dirt, and road spray out.
It’s another detail that reflects our focus on durability, giving weather protection a place alongside weight and construction in the wheelset’s design.
Thru-axle fit. Center Lock braking.
The AR-24 is built for 12 × 100 mm front and 12 × 142 mm rear thru-axle spacing, with Center Lock disc rotor mounts on both wheels.
